Hello,
I have a rule that creates follow up cards each time a card is added to a specific list.
it looks like this:"when a card is added to list "Account Created", copy the card to the top of list "Follow up from day 1 of sign up" on board "Sign Up Followups- Nikka", rename the card to "Follow up day 3-{cardname}", set due date in 3 working days, create a unique card with title "follow up day 7-{triggercardname}" and description "{cardlabels}\nDescription:\n{carddescription}" in list "Follow up from day 1 of sign up" on board "Sign Up Followups- Nikka", and set due in 7 working days, create a unique card with title "follow up day 14-{triggercardname}" and description "{cardlabels}\nDescription:\n{carddescription}" in list "Follow up from day 1 of sign up"
Now the team member moves the card from one list to another in order to trigger the rule. However, if the card is moved twice by mistake Butler will create duplicate cards.
Is there a way to prevent this?
Thank you
Hi @Yara Farhat ! Would it make sense to change the action from "copy the card" to "create a unique card"? Butler won't create it again if it already exists in this case. You can then use variables to copy any needed information from the trigger card like descriptions, labels, etc.
