No e-mail notifications in Trello at all

Hi. I can't seem to get e-mail notifications to work a part from when someon moves a card from one column to another. Then I get an e-mail.
I have created a card which I am also a member of. In addtion I am wathcing that card. Then I update the different free text fields in the card, but get no notifications.

I thought maybe I had to add a due date for the card and did so by adding 24 hours and 5 minutes due date. I received no notification although a notification turned up in the card itself.

Any idea as why this is not working....?
