My client is having trouble accessing boards from emailed notifications

When I add a card to a board, one member of that board receives the email notification but gets this error message when trying to access the board: 'Card not found. This card may be on a private board. You may be able to access it by logging in.'

Would love some advice please.

Hi Hazel,

It sounds like the user user is not logged into Trello. We can only display the cards after they log in as we authorize them that they can view that card. Have them log into Trello and try clicking the link again.
