I'm experimenting with using a card for my daily "to do" items, and a checklist on that card to list the individual tasks. I want to be able to move a checklist item from one card to another (e.g. I didn't get to the task today, or I want to do it another day). Is there a way to do that?
You might be able to handle this with a trigger that when an item is checked and a control custom field is checked. You should have the checklistitem name as a variable and you can find the card and add the item. You will not be able to transfer the due date and assigned member across. Try it.
Hi @David Solot , welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In that case, you move the card to the "tomorrow" , "this week" , "next week" or any other column you have defined, regardless if items on your checklist are done or to do.

Thanks Dave. However I would like to just move the checklist item, not the whole card.

That's not possible as the checklist belongs to the card.
