Move a card when "today" is between two custom field dates

Jonathan Bertholet February 28, 2020

Hi there,

I'm employed in some type of travel agency, and this necessitates the tracking of who's abroad when.

As a part of that, i'd like to have cards move from the list "Ready to travel" to the list "travelling" when the date is superior to the date entered in the custom field "arrival date", and inferior to "departure date".

Next, I'd like for it to move to "Returned home" when it is superior to "Departure date".

Any idea how I can get this done? I've looked around a bit in the Butler, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding the way I can achieve this.

Thanks!

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for reaching out. It isn't possible to trigger Butler rules based on dates within custom fields being met, and it is only possible to set up one due date for a card. Therefore, you could set up one of these moves based on the due date, but then you would need to manually adjust the due date again to activate another rule for the second movement.

I hope that this clarifies, and enjoy your weekend!

Ryan
