Would you mind trying a quick reinstall of the mobile app and let me know if that helps at all please?
If you still run into trouble, please tell me what OS version and Trello App version you're currently using and we can investigate further.

Before when I tapped on the sync icon it would rotate.
Now it does not.
I've no idea if I am syncing my board.
