Missing comments

At the bottom of our card, comments icon shows 16 comments on the card but when we open the card there are only 3 of them. Even when I press 'Show details' button it doesn't show any other comments besides these three, but it shows any other activity in detail. We discussed with team members and every one remembers commenting on the card, but a lot of them are missing. We tried to delete existing ones too, but couldn't. So; did we accidentally (if that's possible) deleted those comments? If so, why are they still showing up on card and how can we recover them?

Welcome to the Community! How strange, this could potentially be a little glitch, I would recommend raising a support ticket directly with Trello Support so they can take a look at the backend for you.
