Looping accounts triggers unsuccessful login

Can someone assist on how to fix a looping access that is prohibiting a user to access her account? Initially the user has firstname.lastname@zzz.com and lastname.firstletter@zzz.com to use. However, a day came that both accounts were not accessible and is just looping giving the user to enter her other account.

Has anyone encountered and solved this issue?
