Lists - do they have to be so linear (cards, yes) but lists!

WENDY MARIE PARRY August 2, 2020

Is there anyway of not having the lists just run in only long horizontal position? some of my lists are quite short and then I don’t want to have to scroll across the screen/page.

Thanks in advance

Hi @WENDY MARIE PARRY

Not at this stage; lists just run across the screen.

There's a good response on this question from a member of Atlassian on this topic, alongside links to Chrome / Firefox apps which can help you achieve stacking / gridding of lists.

@WENDY MARIE PARRY you might find that you can condense the total number of lists you need to use by using labels and filtering:

Quite often when I see people using lots of lists they would be better off having fewer lists and using labels as a sort of "sub-categorisation" mechanism. Filtering works equally well on mobile and web/desktop.
