Limit of participants of a free workspace reached even if not true even if it is not

Hello!

I would like to join a volunteering association free workspace. 

The admin is inviting me but he always get the message that the limit of 10  participants max has been reached.

He checks extensively the workspace but only 7 participants are connected. 

Is there anything that we can do?

How can I join the Trello board?

@Gianluca i suspect there are probably 7 workspace members, but more collaborators, which means more than 10 people involved in some of the board in that workspace. If you go to the workspace members page, what does the collaborator number say (not the workspace members)?

Can you share the URL of the workspace here? I can check on our system if there's any error in the member count. Also, just to make sure, is 7 the number of the workspace and not the board? If the board has 7 members but the workspace already has 10, this is the reason for the issue.
