Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Trello board that’s linked to my Gmail. Everything works fine with my main email, but now that I’ve added other members, I need to connect their Gmail accounts to Trello as well. Unfortunately, every time I try to do this, I get a "BAD REQUEST" error and a suggestion to clear cookies. Even after clearing the cookies, I still can’t establish the connection between Gmail and Trello for these other members. Has anyone else experienced this or have any tips on how to resolve it?
Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
It sounds like you're running into a common issue when trying to connect multiple Gmail accounts to Trello. The "BAD REQUEST" error could be related to account permissions or authentication issues. Here are a few things you can try:
Incognito Mode: Try connecting the other members’ Gmail accounts to Trello in incognito mode or a different browser. Sometimes cached data or extensions can interfere.
Sign Out of All Accounts: Make sure all users are signed out of other Google accounts on the browser before attempting to link their Gmail to Trello. Multiple sign-ins can sometimes cause conflicts jenny mod.
Clear Cookies and Cache Again: Though you’ve already cleared cookies, make sure the cache is cleared too. If needed, try clearing them specifically for Gmail and Trello.
Revoke and Reauthorize Trello Access: Have the affected users go to their Google account settings under Security > Third-party access and remove Trello from connected apps. Then, try reconnecting Trello.
Google Permissions: Ensure that Gmail permissions allow third-party apps like Trello to access email data. Admin restrictions (if using a business account) might also block connections.
