Could you share a few more details on what you were expecting to see and how are things not matching in your comment editor? 

In the meantime, as a workaround, you might find it helpful to disable the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editing feature. You can do this by visiting Trello Labs and toggling off the WYSIWYG Editing option. While this isn't a permanent solution, it might help with the formatting issues you're encountering.
