We want to include a price field or quote information on cards but limit which users can see this information. Is there a way to do this & if so in which version of Trello ?
Thanks
Heather
You could use Amazing Fields to limit the fields users can see based upon the type of user they are on the board. So you couldn't say only specific people, but you could restrict it based upon being a board Admin, Normal, or Observer user. Maybe that would give you what you need.
@Allen Great to know that Amazing Fields has this capability! I didn't know that — appreciate the heads up :)

No problem. I should probably document it better. I just kept adding features as people asked for them and didn't do a great job of documenting or letting people know about the capabilities.

Thanks Allen
That is exactly what we need & there are some other features in there that look good too

Hi Allen,
A quick question - do we have to install this power up on each board separately or does it it install across all boards in the workspace ?
Also do you have to set up all the fields you want at installation or can you go back & add fields at different times. ?
Thanks so much for all your help.

Yes, Trello requires installing powerups on each board separately.
You can add fields at different times. Some people add them all at the start, others add them later.
Take a look at https://docs.amazingpowerups.com for answers to some common questions you may run into as you set it up.

Hi @Heather Hastings, welcome! Unfortunately there isn't a way to hide a certain field or specific information from people who can see the board. You can prevent someone from editing the board with the Observer role but they can still see all data that has been entered on the board.
