I managed to do this by going to the board that i wanted to move, clicking on the ... in the top right and choosing Board settings. Then in the location dropdown i changed the project to the one i wanted to move it to. This seemed to work :-)
However, just to warn you that if you are setting up any security permissions, double check what you set up, as although i have moved my board to a new location it seems to still have the permission schemes associated with the original project, which i haven't yet figured out how to fix.
