I use Trello for college, and each of my courses is a list on a board I built for the semester. I have labels for each class so that they show up nicely (and clearly) on the calendar view. However, when I add numerous assignments to a course at one time, I have to go into each one to add the course label. Is there a way to blanket-add labels to all cards in a list?
@Terri Kempthorne you might find that using the "L" keyboard short cut solves the problem for the volume of cards you're using, here's a screencast I did the other day showing how to quickly add labels to a bunch of cards:

If you wanted to add a label name to every card that is the same as the list name into which it's added, you can either:
1) Wait for Butler to finish being integrated, enable the Power up and add a command like:
When a card is added to a list add label "{listname}"
OR;
2) You can run through the Trellinator setup here:
then install this code which does the same thing:

@Terri Kempthorne note there's a full list of keyboard shortcuts here:
Also available using the keyboard shortcut "?" from any board :)
