The Atlassian Community can help you and your team get more value out of Atlassian products and practices.
Because we are tracking hundreds of projects, there's no great overview to see how many projects each member has at any one time.
It would be great if there was an automated rule or button to collect all those projects into a checklist or as links on cards for each member, so we could quickly see those in a separate list, rather than having too filter by member or use the timeline view and scroll back and forth.
Did some searching already but no luck, hoping someone else might have seen a rule like this elsewhere? Also could try setting up on my own, but working with variables is not my strong suit.
Thanks!
I think this can help your use case:

Hi Brian!
The Workspace Table View may be able to help with this somewhat. You should be able to filter the table down to the relevant cards a member is assigned across multiple boards. You can also then copy the URL of that page for future use. This won't generate a checklist/list of their tasks, but may help give you a better view of what people are working on at any given time.
Thanks for using Trello!

We do have Unito too -- will try that out. Thank you for the suggestions and quick replies!

@Brian Gross great! Unito could definitely help you build an overview dashboard. I've helped build very similar workflows in the past using Unito. There are lots of ways you could design the overview board, so if you need a hand, let me know!

To add on from the solutions provided above, you could also go to https://trello.com/{username}/cards and swap out the user name with your team member's username. This will show all their assigned cards and activity, and you can sort by due date to see what's overdue, what's due this week, etc. You can also access other member's cards view via "members" in your workspace setting.
Another option is to use something like Unito's board sync to consolidate all cards into an overview board. You could create a list for each member and sync their cards into their respective list. This will enable a full 2-way sync.
Unito is paid, so if you want to create an overview board but want a free option, you could sort of hack a sync by using Butler and creating linked cards to enable cascading actions (e.g. when a member completes a card on their board, archive the card on the overview board).
Happy to provide more detail on any of the above of you need 🙂
