IFrameIO request time out

I'm trying to set a dynamic card-badge in a  which send a ajax request to my API and use the response as card-badge text property. it is working on boards with low card counts(100-200) but as number of cards increases I get `IFrameIO request timed out. Command=callback, Plugin=undefined, Elapsed=5049`  for each card,

the ajax call is made inside dynamic function, and it's not async, there is no refresh property on card-badge
