I've recently signed up to Atlassian, but now my desktop app won't work?

I type in my email, go to sign in then it reverts back to a 'sign up' page for Trello instead of taking me to my boards. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Just to make sure that your Atlassian account was correctly created, please go to id.atlassian.com and try to log in.

Also, you mentioned about the desktop app, does it work if you log in on web version? Have you also tried the mobile app?
