(1) I created a card
(2) I subscribed to the card
(3) I sent an email to the card's email address (see screenshot)
(4) BUT I don't get notified via email about the (3)
My setup states that notifications are sent out immediately
Trello won't notify you of actions that you take, as it assumes you already know about the event, because it knows you did it. It's not currently possible to enable this, unfortunately, but I'll let the team know that's something you'd like to see.
Are they sending to the same email address as you? Board and card email addresses are unique to each person, so if anyone else emails the same card address, yours, Trello will still treat the action as being taken by you. Other people could use their own card email address—in that case, the action would be taken by them, and you'll be notified of that!
