I cannot edit cards any more - I have removed all the cache and cookies - still not working

I can no longer open up a card and type into it any more.  When I click on the edit pen the card doesn't open and all that happens is a list of options appears on the right hand side of the card and none of them allow me to open up the card and add info.  Tags to the right are: 

1. Edit labels
2. Change members
3. Move
4. Copy
5. Change due date
6. Archive

Nothing I do helps.  I cannot add a photograph or else I could show you

Actually, it's very simple!

If you click on the pencil icon you will these options!

You need to click over the cards then the card will open you you will able to work fine with it!
