Our "Video" board is very full, and therefore very slow. I want to move our list "Released Video" to the new board "Video Archive". But when I do, the list remains in the current "Video" board and some weird half-list gets moved to the new "Video Archive" board.

There could be a couple of things going on here, but it sounds like that list might be so large that the transfer of the list is failing. If you have any developer resources available to you, moving that list via the API would likely be the best way to go: https://developers.trello.com/
I would also suggest that you reach out to us directly at https://trello.com/contact so we can take a closer look at the board in question and find out what's happening.
