Hi there! I know it is possible to share a board as Public, and make it so that the people I invite to the board (with a link) cannot edit, but I'm not sure what version of Trello I need to have in order to do this or what the exact steps are. Can anyone advise? Thank you in advance!

If you make the board public, then you can just give the people the link (do not use the "invite" mechanism to invite them to the board - just give them the URL). Note that Google will also see this board. If they just visit the URL, they will not be able to edit the board.
