I'm building a kind of a poor man's CMS where I have curators / editors and copy writers
I need a way to limit what each type of user can do,
Curator, can only create cards in the "INCOMING" list.
Editor moves from INCOMING to "COPY_QUEUE" list or to "REJECT" list.
copywriters can edit and write the copy on the card and move to "PUBLISH_QUEUE"
editor can fix final touches and move from "PUBLISH_QUEUE" to "PUBLISH"
I know Trello doesn't support real roles, but any hacks to accomplish something in this spirit?
Thx
Oron
So I'm imaging a board infrastructure where you have a different board for each 'role' and only that role can edit that board.
From those individual boards, use an addon like Placker to sync the cards added to a main board.
In this way, each role maintains a different board, but you have a 'master' view where you can see all activity.
This is an untested theory, but hope it starts you out with your own ideas.
