I am using Zapier to create google calendar's events from Trello cards. I want to add the car's members as the attendee's on the event. Everything works up to this point, where google/ zapier can't send an invite to the members because the emails are not store on any of the cards fields. I would like this to be automatic also not having to write every email on something like custom fields or comment. Is this possible?
@Lennys Santana there's no way to automatically get email from Trello username unfortunately. You will need to have a card or cards that map the username to the email address via description/custom field etc.
You can, however, send an email to every member of a card using Butler:
I'm not sure if this is sent as an individual email to each team member of if it is a single email to all team members.
If this were the case, you could create a new Trello account using the email address of an Email Parser in Zapier, then add that member to every card which would then allow you to see other recipients in the Zapier email parser, extract the address and invite them to the event :S
Pretty hairy. And I don't know if it would work and can't test because I'm on a free account ... Might be easier just to store the person's name mapped to their email on a card somewhere and reference that. You wouldn't need to do it for each card, you could just find the same card in Zapier with a search step each time.
I am not 100% sure if it works, but I would like to suggest you check out Integromat in this use case.
Integromat is an automation platform like Zapier is. The last time I compared their features in regards to Trello, I found that Integromat was way ahead of the game.
It might be worth a check.
If you had to thrive a new habit during a lockdown, what would it be? Trello
