Hi,
As a wedding officiant I work with several projects at the same time;
each bridal couple is in a different phase towards their wedding.
To keep an overview, I would like to make:
- a template list for a project (recurring workflow)
- connect a central deadline to the project (wedding date)
- creating a due date on each card (step within the project) by counting back a certain amount of weeks from the central project deadline
For example: writing the speech within 4 weeks before the project deadline.
It would be ideal if I could copy this template, fill in a new central project deadline (wedding date) and all cards will automatically have the due dates in them.
Is there a way to create due dates by counting back from a certain deadline?
Thank you so much for your help!
Kind regards,
Daphne
Hi Daphne,
Sounds like an awesome Trello project! Dynamic due dates like that, are unfortunately, not possible, though. Due dates on Trello cards are static entities, so any time you copy a board, the due dates will remain as they were, and it's not possible to set them as relative to anything else. Sorry about that! I'll let the team know that's something you'd like to see!
Any progress on this task?
Copy a list and move deadlines X days or weeks forward?
