I removed a past employee from our Workspace. Come to find out, he was the only admin to a board that I was not on (and therefore didn't know existed). The board wasn't deleted per say, the admin was just removed from the workspace. Is there a way to recover it?
If you're on a free Workspace, I would recommend starting a free trial. This will give you full admin capabilities and will allow you to become an admin for any board within the Workspace.
Since you weren't a member of that board before, you won't see it in the list of closed boards, even after you start the trial. You'll need to ask someone who was using that board to send you a link to the board. Anyone who was a member of the board should have received a notification when the board was closed. If they click on that notification, that will take them to a page saying the board is closed. They can send that to you, and, once you start the free trial, you can reopen the board and assign a new admin from that page.
Hi @Niana Pallatt I believe what happens is the board remains in the workspace and the user will remain an admin of the board or will be removed from the board depending on whether or not you selected the option to remove the user from all boards when you removed them from the workspace.
Try searching for the board (the keyboard shortcut for board search is "b"). If you're an admin of the workspace, you should be able to access all boards regardless of whether or not you are a member or if they're set to private.
