How do I allow a family member to see my calendar but not edit it?

I use Trello for our family calendar and organization.  How do I allow my children to see the calendar on their phones but not be able to edit it?

Thank you for reaching out.

Per your description, I believe you are looking for a way to add your children as read-only users to your board. Is that correct?

In order to allow read-only access to Trello boards, you must add your children as observers. That option is only available for the users in the business class plan, as mentioned in the documentation below:

Adding observers to boards 

That being said, to add observers to boards you just need to:

1 - Click "Add Members..." from the Members section of the board menu.

2 - Enter the email addresses. You will be prompted that the email address is not recognized by Trello and informed that they will be sent an invite to your board.

3 - Check the box that says "Include this member a view-only Observer?" and click "Send".

When that person signs up for Trello they will automatically be added to your board as an Observer.
