When i try to share the post via my buffer extension to social media i get a message saying "The provided image doesn't seem to be valid, yet i never changed anything before today.  Any support would be appreciated.

This seems like you might be experiencing the new API guidelines regarding attachments in Trello.

EDIT - Allow me to elaborate

Attachments cannot be publicly shared directly from Trello anymore unless they are members of your board.

You'll have to download a copy and use a different sharing mechanism.
