How are search results ordered and how can I control how they display??

I am working for a large organization and we have one team with access to dozens of boards. We need to search across boards to quickly find the most relevant items. Generally we would be looking for the most recently modified cards I'd imagine, but searching by a label name or keyword produces dozens of results, with only a handful displaying on a single screen and I can't figure out how they are ordered. Continually having to click into display more results and not being able to order the search results I fear is going to make searching useless for us.

Anyone have any ideas??

Hi Andrew,

In general, we'd expect the cards in search results in the following order:

  • Open cards, from most recently edited to least recently edited
  • Archived cards, again starting with most recently edited.

Feel free to send in an example to our Support team via trello.com/contact if that does not match what you are seeing.
