Filtering and Searching on Public Boards

Kathy French January 10, 2020

I have a general lack of understanding on how public boards are presented to "users." If I have a public board and one user does a search or filters the cards, does this impact everyone who is viewing the board? If a user filters all the cards on a selected category, will the next person viewing the board only see the filtered cards? How would they know they are only seeing a subset of information?

Hey Kathy,

Filtering for cards on boards are done on a per-user basis, so if Person A filtered for a card on that board, it wouldn't affect Person B's view of it.

When filtering for cards, a small green box will show the current result count on the board like this, and users can click the X on it to remove that filter:

I hope that helps explain!
