Email notifications are not working

Rich Hirschinger December 5, 2017

I have stopped receiving notifications after receiving them for many weeks. Why would this occur? Trello.jpg

Hi Rich,

When this happens, there are two common causes. The first is that emails have been rejected by your mail server, which causes Trello to temporarily blacklist your address. That doesn't appear to be the case here, as your email doesn't look blocked, but I also don't see successful notification emails going out to you.

The other possibility is that you may not be meeting the correct conditions to trigger a notification. Not every event or activity in Trello will generate a notification. For example, in order to receive a notification for a due date on a card, the due date needs to occur in more than 24 hours, and you need to be either a member of or subscribed to the card. This page explains in a little more detail exactly what does and doesn't trigger a notification: http://help.trello.com/article/793-receiving-trello-notifications

I would suggest taking a look at that page, and if you still feel that notifications you should be receiving aren't arriving, let us know at https://trello.com/contact. When you do that, if you can share a link to a specific card with an event that you expected to be notified of, but weren't, that'll help us find out what's going on!

The issue is on Trello's end. I opened a support ticket documenting that the Notifications are not even appearing on the web platform.
