Easily find "Unsaved Edits" on Trello Cards

I sometimes close a card without formally saving my edits.   This leaves the card with a description and a message that "You have unsaved Edits"

I think this is a great feature.

But I wonder - can I easily find OTHER cards where I have accidentally edited and not saved my edits?

Or, is the only way to find it, just to go through each card and look?

Thanks,

Jim

yeah not so "easy", but you can open the developer panel of the browser (f12). go to storage -> local storage, and you will find the unsaved items as the values of keys starting with "draft_".

Great tip! I was worried I had accidentally left something unsaved, and this tip let me quickly confirm otherwise. (I made one extra unsaved change to test and make sure this works.)

As of June 2024, in Chrome, the full path to get there is F12/Dev Tools while on the Trello board page, "Application" tab, then in the sidebar, Storage > Local Storage > https://trello.com.

Hi Jim,

That would be a nice addition! Unfortunately, no, there's no way currently to search for that, so the only way to find that is by opening each card to look. I agree, that's not so discoverable, and I'll let the team know that's something you're looking for!
