Don't understand pricing

I have my personal workspace (not in actual use currently) and I made a second workspace for me and a business partner.

When I check the “Upgrade” section for my personal workspace, it says 6 USD/mth

However, the other workspace says 24 USD/mth. Why is this one 4 x the price? There are 2 x “Workspace members” and 10 x “Guests”. I would have guessed it is 12 USD/mth because 2 members. 

I now had the idea to move the boards from the company workspace into my personal workspace, upgrade this, and invite people again. Will this work?

When you upgrade Trello, you'll pay for both workspace members and multi-board guests (these are Trello users who do not belong to the workspace, but belong to more than one board within the workspace). Does your other workspace with 10 guests have any multi-board guests? If so that probably explains the difference in cost between the two.

It shouldn't matter which workspace you upgrade, when you upgrade, you'll pay for each member of the workspace and each multi-board guest. If you upgrade the workspace while you're the only member, you'll only pay for yourself, but your billing will be adjusted if you add additional workspace members or multi-board guests after that point.
