Do you have to upgrade all users in your team to business class?

We have a small team of managing staff and a dozen clients that will have their own accounts; do we need to upgrade everyone to business class to continue to give everyone access to the cards/boards or can we have a few or one managing members with business class that will have the admin powers but still allow the clients access? Basically can you upgrade one person to utilize the admin powers or does everyone have to be upgraded within the company?

Hi Megan,

 

Because Business Class is a team-upgrade, you'll be charged for all members of the team. This does mean that it's not possible to only upgrade some members of the team and not others.

 

That said, the important distinction is that you're only charged for team members, and you can always add members to individual boards (as opposed to the team) at no additional charge.

Does this also apply to trello gold members, if I upgrade to gold will all my team members need to also be gold members?

No, Trello Gold is an individual upgrade, so only individual members can upgrade to Gold, and there's no requirement that anyone else do so if you do!
