Do you have to have premium to add a location to a card?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.

As per trello official guide , Map View works on Premium Workspace - https://help.trello.com/article/1245-map-view. 

But, I have one suggestion. If you can add the location as link I hope that should work.
