I've transferred a project from Trello to JIRA and am wondering if the transferred attachments remain pointed at Trello such that, if I discontinue my Trello license, will I lose the attachments in JIRA?
I've noticed when I back up JIRA, in the back-up zip, I see, for example, jira-export.zip\data\attachments\<project>\10000\<project>-3\10925. Can I safely assume "10925" is the attachment from Trello and it is not linked to Trello?
Thanks.
Hi Mark!
The importer does indeed bring attachments in to Jira's file storage. Any changes/deletions to the attachments in Trello will have no bearing on the copies in Jira.
A quick litmus test if you're ever in doubt:
Trello attachment URLs begin with trello-attachments.s3.amazonaws.com
Jira Cloud attachment URLs begin with api.media.atlassian.com
Cheers,
Daniel
