Default Member of a card

Why am I not the default member of a new card?

When I create a new card I want to be the member of it and avoid the extra 3 clicks to add, choose, and confirm that I am the member of a new card. This "default" option should be available by a toggle switch.

First of all, you can save the clicks by hovering the mouse over the card and hitting the space bar, this will add you as a member.

Second, you can do an automation as below, which will get you down to 0 extra clicks once created:
