I have cards that automatically populate in a list. How do I make it so if one with the same name exists another isn't added?
Hi @FOH
You can create the following automation:
When a card is added to the board, lookup the card with the name "{triggercardname}" and archive the card.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I think you are in the wrong place, your question does not seem to be about an Atlassian system. I suspect you have clicked on "help with the system in use for documentation or issue tracking" instead of "help with the product".
If not, then can you explain what Atlassian system you are using?

Follow these steps to solve this issue:
1. Utilize Open Butler: Gain entry to the Butler automation tool within Trello. Establish a Rule: Arrange a rule to verify the presence of cards with identical names. Action: Customize the action to refrain from adding the new card if a card with the same name is already present. 2. Access Open Butler: Enter the Butler automation tool available in Trello. Establish a Rule: Set up a rule to examine the existence of cards with matching names. Action: Configure the action to prevent the addition of a new card if a card with the same name is already present.
