Sometimes when I cut text from a card description and paste it anywhere (including outside Trello), the thing that gets pasted is a link to the card, NOT the text I cut.
Is this happening to anyone else?
Is there a sensible workaround?
It's hard to replicate, but I've tried this a few times and it seems to check out:
I've noticed this started happening this week on Mac/Firefox.
It doesn't just happen with that simple use case—I've also lost a large amount of text because of this problem, and text without links.
I've had the same problem with the online version of Trello. I downloaded the app version, and seems to be fine with that.

I am experiencing this too. What I've found is that if I cut it copies the whole card. When I paste it pastes a link to that card instead of what I have cut. I have had this happen only in the description field and the workaround I'm using until this is solved is to copy and then delete and then it works as expected. Clunky but it's helping in the interim.

Hi @Ivan
Welcome to Atlassian Community.
Actually it should not happen like you said, instead it copies text as usual functionality.
If it happens still, just update the app on your laptop/desktop it should fix the issue.
or try below workaround
paste the copied text into the Comment field and then copy from there and paste it as anywhere and check,
