As captioned, our subscription plan is Trello Premium with an annual payment. I am curious about how Trello adjusts our payments when there are changes in the number of users.
For example, if we initially have 50 users being charged, and then 1 user leaves, but we later add 1 user back before the next payment period, why does the invoice show an addition of 1 user, making it seem like we have 51 users? What happens to the user who left? Any way that we could make the new add one continue the left one's subscription?

If a user leaves your team, that seat remains paid for until the end of the billing period. This means you won't automatically receive a refund or decrease in your subscription cost for that period.
If you later add a new user, they can occupy the vacated seat without incurring an additional charge, as long as the total number of active users does not exceed the number of seats you initially paid for.
However, since you have a Premium License, please, ask your Admin to contact our Support Team. They'll assist you on this matter!
