Can we set card level privacy? Allowing only member to check out certain card, hence not allowing all member to see all cards.
We would liked to assign jobs/card to members, but not all members should see other members work/card (if not what are the solution or suggestion)
Hi @Damon Chung
Welcome to the Community!
Unfortunately, there is no way to set card level privacy on Trello.
However, you could assign cards to people and get them to set up their own boards with only their tasks on them. You could do this with a Butler rule and then when they completed something, another rule would enable it to be ticked off on the original card.
The Card Mirror PowerUp might be another way around this.
Please let us know if we can be more help!
Esme :)
@Esme Crutchley to expand on this a bit, the way I've done this in the past is to use labels as an assignment mechanism from the main board, then have boards for each user. So for example you have labels like "Iain Dooley" and "Damon Chung" and "Esme Crutchley" on your main board, then you have boards with the same names.
When a label is added to a card in the main board, create a card in the board with the same name in the "Inbox" list or something, and link the cards together using a Butler rule.
The extent to which those 2 cards are then synched is a matter of taste, but you could create individual rules for updating checklist items and comments for example, or for making a card in the main board as complete when archived from the individual's board.
