Card attachment behaviour

We create cards via email and attachment pdf documents and when users click on these attachments, the file would open in a browser window. Today that behaviour has changed with the attachment downloading instead of opening. This appears to be across all boards and all users.

I can't see a way to change this back, is there another way to fix this?

I have the same problem, and it's very annoying. During past weeks PDFs opened in a new tab, it was less efficient than the preview but not as annoying as the new system. Downloading all PDF means open the PDF and then have some time deleting them, it's a break in the workflow... I think it's a big downgrade for Trello and I don't understand it.
