Can you see if there is a way to make it so Trello doesn't double space lines when I hit enter its very inconvenient
This is more or less the standard of text editors (Enter = New Paragraph).
The trick is to press SHIFT+Enter... That gives you a line break instead
(It is the same in the editor of this Forum, Microsoft Word, etc...)
its extremely inconvenient because I am entering between 40 and 320 lines with one hand on each trello card and entering this much on 20 to 30 trello cards a week so having to hit shift+enter for every line makes it very difficult and time consuming. what is the purpose does this help anyone that uses trello or are they just trying to be like this forum and microsoft word? Thanks for your reply I really appreciate your help!

As said, it is more or less a standard of Text Editor, so if Trello did it differently, people would complain of not following the "standard"... So imagine that is why they did it that way... When Word changed to this 10+ years ago, I also hated it at first, but soon it felt second nature to press Shift + enter when single linebreak is needed

Somewhat related to this subject - is there a way to create line breaks in Checklist items?
