New user here and trying to figure out proper workflows.
We've attached pictures to a card that represent a task within a "to do" board (faster to screenshot a text strand and attach to task than to type). But once the task is done, we'd like to move the attachment to a DONE card in the same board; is that a possibility? Hierarchy as we have it now:
Team Board>List>Card ("Realtor contacts")>attached screenshot which represents a task under the "Realtor Contacts" heading. Once the action discussed in the screenshot is complete, we'd like to move it to a "done" card (prefer to not delete). The "Realtor Contacts" card is perpetual as it has tasks that flow in/out and therefore, the card itself shouldn't be moved to "Done"
If moving an attachment to another list and/or card isn't an option, I welcome suggestions for a better workflow. Hope I've explained this well.
@Kelly Ferguson Rather than attaching task screenshots to the Realtor Contacts card directly it sounds like a better option would be to create a card for each screenshot and add a link to that card from a checklist on the Realtor Contacts card. That way you can move the screenshotted card to a Done list when done, but still have a record of it aggregated in a linked checklist on the Realtor Contacts card.
You could create a Butler automation such that, when a new card is created in list "Task Screenshots" a link to the card is added to a checklist named with the date of Monday in the current week and when the card is moved to Done the checklist item is automatically marked as complete on the Realtor Contacts card
