Hi,
I have a problem with gathering email addresses from Jira and Trello. Our app is syncing data via Trello and Jira API, so that user can see his jira tickets, trello boards and cards as part of our system. We sync users of our system with Jira/Trello users via their emails. The problem is that neither Jira nor Trello APIs return emails with user info by default. I understand that I can have my app whitelisted (I sent request for that here: https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/14/DEVHELP-3591?created=true As it seams, this will work only for Jira, right? Is there an option, how to gather emails from Trello too?
Thank you!
We do not share or display users' email addresses in the app or provide them in the API for privacy reasons.
Of course, I understand, but apparently there is a way, as e.g. this post is describing: https://community.developer.atlassian.com/t/guidelines-for-requesting-access-to-email-address/27603
My question is then whether I can get my app whitelisted to be able to call the email api, and whether this applies to both Jira and Trello.
