We recently integrated with Zoho, so the cards are being initiated from there and then moved over to Trello. The card is move onto what is essentially a holding board, where Sales can confirm all the information transferred over properly. Then it is moved to the Operations board where it stays until the job is complete. Many of the drop-down options on the Operations board have color coding. The problem is, when cards come from Zoho to the holding borad, the drop-down options don't have the color coding, so when a card is moved to the Operations board, Trello sees them as new options, so now the drop-down lists all have duplicate options, such as "yes", "no", and "maybe", color-coded with green, red, and yellow, and then again "yes", "no", and "maybe" with no color.
Is there a way to automate it so that when the card is moved over to Trello, the color-coding is added to the drop-down options? If not, is my only option to remove the color-coding from all of the current drop-down lists? I'm aftraid that with the hundreds of cards that were created prior to the Zoho integration I will now have to go through each manually to change every "yes" with green to "yes" with no color and so on. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Pamela!
Integrations are created with Trello API, so based on our API document for Custom Fields, the Zoho integration should be able to select the correct Custom Field option instead of duplicating them.
Since Atlassian didn't develop the Zoho integration, we lack the necessary knowledge to provide support for it. I recommend reaching out to Zoho support to find out if there's a way to use the existing Custom Field options with their integrations.
