Can I add a comment to an item in a checklist?

I am hoping to make a checklist and give my users the opportunity to provide a little context when making a selection.

An example of this would be:

LIST: Recipes

CARD: Breads

Checklist:

1. Buns 

->1st user checks Buns and adds the comment "Burger Buns"

->2nd user adds a follow up comment "Hot Dog Buns"

2. Rolls

This is not possible, I'm afraid! Individual checklist items are as deep as that context layer goes, and comments can only be added to the Comments section of the entire card.
