Butler and Slack - Invalid Token

We'd like to have an automation that sends a message to a slack channel - but I'm getting an error in the Butler log "Invalid Token".

We have other integrations that work between Slack and Trello on other boards - any idea what may be happening?

Hi Hal,

First, I want to give you a warm welcome into our community, and I hope you're enjoying so far.

Secondly, I haven't experienced that previously with my own Butler rules, but let's try something to see if that will work for you. I have a hunch that you may need to unlink and relink Trello with your Slack Workspace. And so, follow these steps:

  • Close the usage log, then click "connected apps" in the bottom-left on that same page
  • Click "remove your slack workspace connection"
  • Reconnect with that same Slack Workspace
  • Try the rule one more time

I'm confident that relinking your Slack Workspace on Butler will allow your rules to work as expected :D.
