Butler Due Date "6 days before a card due in between 1 and 30 days" does not work

Antonio Wong November 3, 2019

I am trying to copy all those task with due date over 7 days from today. And I use the below command, but not working. Any one know why?

Command:

"6 days before a card due in between 1 and 30 days is due, copy the card to the top of list "T+X" on board "GST Calendar" and link the cards together"

Hey Antonio,

Are the cards you are trying to copy already past that 6 days? The due date commands set in Butler aren't retroactive, meaning they won't trigger for cards that are past that due date window. Instead it will trigger when a card becomes due in 6 days.

Can you try removing your between 1 and 30 days filter on that command, then create a test card? Set the due date on the test card to be due 7 days from now. Then tomorrow, the Butler command should trigger on that card once it reaches 6 days.

Let me know if that helps explain.
