I'm new to using Butler Bot (I don't have enough Powerups to use the integrated Butler, so I just want to use the ButlerBot for one simple task).
I just invited the Butler Bot to a board called "To Do, Doing, Done" using the website https://butlerfortrello.com/dashboard.html. The Butlerfortrello.com site links to my Trello account just fine, and my "To Do, Doing, Done" board, to which I invited Butler Bot, shows that I successfully added Butler Bot as a collaborator. However:
1) there is no "Butler" list added to my Board in Trello (this is supposed to happen automatically after the Bot is added as a collaborator, correct?) and
2) on https://butlerfortrello.com/dashboard.html it says "Unable to read this board's commands from our servers."
Can anyone help me sort out the problem? Is this Bot still supported? Thanks!
Hi,
you may want to check out https://help.trello.com/article/1170-butler-bot-vs-power-up - the "Butler Bot" integration is no longer supported for new users, only the newer Integration is supported. Note that Butler does not take up a power-up slot on your board, and should already be enabled - see the button highlighted in red in the screenshot below:
Thanks for your help. The free Butler powerup doesn't offer the ONE task I need (it says I need to pay for what I want to do), so I was searching for a solution with the ButlerBot. Oh well.

What's the task you needed Butler to do? I work on the team responsible for Butler, and curious about how we can better serve users, paid or not.
